Ride-hailing has altered what we're buying when we go somewhere: We buy the trip, not the car. And that's changing our relationship with the idea of where.
Early in my career, I did ghostwriting and editing of business books. One of my favorites was Moments of Truth, a book by Jan Carlzon, then the celebrated president of SAS Airlines, which he turned around in the 1980s (and today, still kicking in his 80s as a leading investor).
