Great article! But to be clear Nashville-Davidson is the central County in the Nashville metro, and Williamson County is secund. Property taxes in downtown Nashville don't go to Williamson County, although the latter certianly benifits by it's location in the suburban vavored quarter stretching South of Downtown.

Right. Part of my point is that Nashville-Williamson County blew through its land supply quickly, not getting as much property tax return as it should have, and now Williamson County is doing the same (though some of its low-density development is very high-end).

Absolutely! You make great points here. Just wanted to correct that Downtown property taxes stay in Nashville-Davidson after reading you imply they benifit Williamson towards the end of the article.
